Gansu province anning care appropriate technical skills competition

On September 10, the 2021 of Gansu Province “Provincial contest of appropriate techniques for hospice care”was opened at the Gansu provincial cancer hospital. The preliminary contest is divided into two parts, the preliminary contest is organized by the provincial medical units and the municipal and state health committees, and the final contest is hosted by the provincial health committees and the provincial cancer hospital. Teams for the city, Lanzhou New District, Gansu Mining Health Committee, the Commission of each unit, Lanzhou University first and second hospitals. The aim of the competition is to promote the professional skills competition in health care system of our province, to develop the enthusiasm of nurses and to improve the level of hospice care service.

The contest assessment items for the PICC Catheter maintenance, oral care, nasal feeding, intravenous indwelling needle maintenance. Our company SY19/H005 injection arm (right) and SY19/H002 adult nursing simulant (female) were used for PICC maintenance and nasal feeding in the contest.

The competition has achieved complete success, through the competition, the outstanding players have come to the fore; scientific thinking and methods have been applied to clinical work, and innovation has driven the overall improvement of nursing service quality and management level, deepening the connotation of high-quality nursing service.
