Placental tissue magnified simulator

■  The enlarged simulator of placental tissue shows the structure of placental tissue, including amniotic epithelium, dense chorionic villi, villi, trophoblast shell and basal decidua, as well as umbilical cord. The fetal umbilical blood vessels are represented in red by the umbilical vein, blue by the umbilical artery, maternal uterine blood vessels, red by the spiral artery of the uterus, and blue by the uterine vein.
